Graduates Honored in 2019 Commencement Ceremony
Frontier Nursing University (FNU) graduates, family and friends gathered to celebrate commencement on Saturday, Sep. 28. A total of 852 graduates were honored in this year’s ceremony, and 265 attended along with family, friends and over 200 FNU faculty, staff and board members. Degrees were conferred on graduates who completed the Doctor of Nursing Practice degree, Master of Science in Nursing degree, or Post-Graduate Certificate. Frontier Nursing University (FNU) is pleased to bring on alumna Dr. Joan Slager, CNM, DNP, FACNM to spearhead FNU’s nursing education. Joan assumed her new position as dean of nursing in August 2018 after serving as interim dean beginning in March 2018. FNU to Begin Work on Versailles Campus
Frontier Nursing University (FNU) is making progress on its “New Frontier” in Versailles, Ky. FNU has secured a contractor and is set to begin the renovations to several buildings and plots on its new property in Versailles, with expected completion date for the new campus set for January 2020. FNU purchased the land in October 2017 with a vision to expand enrollment and educate more nurse-midwives and nurse practitioners. Frontier Nursing University Finalizes Purchase of Versailles, Ky., Campus
Today, Frontier Nursing University (FNU) finalized the purchase of the Versailles, Ky., campus of The United Methodist Children’s Home and adjacent property. The properties have been under contract since March 2016, but the actual purchase has been postponed while The Methodist Home of Kentucky built their new facility in Nicholasville, Ky.
