The President’s Academic Fellowship Program at Frontier Nursing University is a prestigious initiative established to recognize and support outstanding faculty members who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to their field and made meaningful contributions to our academic community.
This selective program offers fellows the opportunity to engage in focused leadership development alongside a small cohort of esteemed colleagues. This year’s participants will play an active role in advancing the university’s mission through their participation in our strategic planning processes, helping to shape the future direction of Frontier Nursing University.

Objectives of the Fellowship
The FNU President’s Academic Fellowship Program (PAFP) goals are to provide faculty leadership opportunities, to promote faculty growth, and to create space for the advancement of our faculty leaders from across the institution.
Each year, the President will select motivated, qualified participants who meet one or more of the following criteria:
- Individuals ready for and potentially looking for leadership roles
- Faculty with demonstrated leadership ability
- Faculty with current or previous leadership positions, whether academic or clinical
- Faculty from disciplines that are representative of the university
- Faculty with experience or a desire to serve nationally within their professional organizations
