Frontier Nursing University celebrated the official opening of its new location on the beautiful, newly renovated Versailles Campus with a ribbon cutting and land acknowledgment ceremony on Friday, September 9, at 10:00 a.m. Approximately 100 people attended the ceremony, including Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear, who praised the impact of FNU in preparing more nurses to address the nursing shortage in the state and country.
All-Star Presenter Lineup Highlights Diversity Impact Conference 2022
Frontier Nursing University (FNU) held its 12th annual Diversity Impact Conference on September 27-29. The event, which was free for all attendees, was held virtually for the third consecutive year. The conference’s theme was “Engaging Diverse Voices in Sustained Dialogue to Build Community Trust.” The conference featured an impressive group of speakers and presenters from across the country.
Dr. Paula Alexander-Delpech Named Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer
Frontier Nursing University (FNU) is proud to announce that Dr. Paula Alexander-Delpech, Ph.D., PMHNP-BC, APRN, has been named the Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer (CDIO). Dr. Alexander-Delpech has served as the Interim CDIO since January. She guided the planning and programming for FNU’s 12th annual Diversity Impact Conference which was held in June. She serves as co-chair of the President’s Task Force on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), and co-chair of the Faculty, Staff, and Preceptor Development and Retention sub-committee of the DEI Task Force.
Frontier Nursing University Selected to Participate in National Initiative to Foster Inclusive Learning Environments
The American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) announced that Frontier Nursing University (FNU) is one of 50 schools of nursing in the U.S. to have been selected to participate in a national initiative designed to foster inclusive learning environments and build a more diverse nursing workforce. Nearly 250 schools applied to participate in the initiative.
FNU’s Annual Diversity Impact Conference to Be Held September 27-29
The Frontier Nursing University (FNU) Diversity Impact Planning Ad-hoc (DIPA) Committee is proud to announce that the Diversity Impact Conference “Engaging Diverse Voices in Sustained Dialogue to Build Community Trust” will be held on September 27-29, 2022, on the Zoom platform for FNU students, alumni, faculty, and staff! FNU is extremely excited about this year’s conference. The DIPA Committee has been diligently working on planning an innovative, interactive, online version of the conference.

Dr. Paula Alexander-Delpech, Ph.D., PMHNP-BC, APRN, has been named the Interim Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer (CDIO). Dr. Alexander-Delpech currently serves at FNU as an Associate Professor, Chair of the Health Equity subcommittee, Chair of the President’s Task Force on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), and Chair of the Faculty, Staff, and Preceptor Development and Retention committee.
