
William Corley
Mr. Bill Corley is a Consultant with Integrity Health Strategies. Before joining Integrity Health Strategies, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer at Community Health Network in Indianapolis for 25 years from 1984 to 2009. Under Bill’s leadership and at the end of his tenure, Community realized a 68% reduction in Serious Safety Event Rate (SSER) as part of Community’s commitment to creating an exceptional patient experience beginning with protecting patients from harm. Before joining Community, Bill served as the President and CEO of Akron General Medical Center in Ohio.
Originally from Pittsburg, PA, Bill received his Business Administration degree from the college of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA, one the second oldest colleges in the nation. He then furthered his education at Duke University where he received his master’s in healthcare management.
After graduating from Duke University, Bill began his career as the administrative director at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC from 1966 to 1967. He then served as the director of plans and operations for the 3rd Field Hospital for the US Army in Saigon, Vietnam. He returned to the United States in 1968 to work as a healthcare consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton in Chicago. He then served as the Associate Hospital Director at the Albert B Chandler Medical Center at the University of Kentucky from 1971 to 1975. In 1975, he was named hospital director of Milton S Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
Mr. Bill Corley has ties to the FNS and visited Hyden in 2017 for a meeting with Michael Claussen to tour the new Frontier Nursing University campus. He currently resides in Carmel, IN with his wife Angela Corley. He has one daughter and one son, and four grandchildren. In his spare time, he is a high school basketball referee and enjoys traveling with his wife.
