David Fritz, BS

David Fritz is an experienced facilities and security professional with a background spanning higher education, federal service, and large-scale operations. He serves as Facilities and Security Manager at Frontier Nursing University (FNU), where he oversees campus facilities, grounds, and security. David collaborated closely with FNU administration and external contractors to successfully complete the renovation of the University’s campus in Versailles, Kentucky, ensuring projects aligned with institutional goals, safety standards, and operational needs.

Prior to joining Frontier Nursing University in 2019, David spent over a decade with Bechtel Corporation as a security specialist, procurement professional and facility manager. His experience there included physical and personnel security, procurement, material coordination, property control administration, and warehouse operations, supporting the chemical weapons demilitarization project on the Blue Grass Army Depot.

Earlier in his career, David served in the United States Coast Guard, attaining the rank of Petty Officer Third Class. His service included federal law enforcement duties, weapons training, secure communications, emergency medical response as a certified EMT, and the management of sensitive and classified records under a Department of Defense security clearance. He was also responsible for armory inventories, medical supply procurement, and maintenance scheduling for medical and dental equipment.

David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Asset Protection and Loss Prevention from Eastern Kentucky University. David is excited to serve as the President’s Cabinet Inclusive Excellence Representative for 2026, drawing on the experience gained through a rich and rewarding career to support the University’s mission.
