Frontier Nursing University has helped shape some of the most renowned nurse-midwives and nurse practitioners in the United States, and much of that is owed to the hard work and dedication of our faculty. As students learn and provide care in their home communities, FNU faculty are committed to being present and providing consistent support throughout the educational journey. Our faculty, located all across the country, are focused on creating a culture of caring through our distance education model.
FNU’s more than 150 faculty members are passionate, innovative leaders and 96% are certified nurse-midwives and nurse practitioners with over half of them still actively practicing in their respective fields. FNU faculty members have an average of 11 years of graduate-level teaching experience. Many of our faculty members are FNU alumni, many have worked with underserved populations, and each faculty member is dedicated to educating our students and improving the quality of healthcare nationwide.
In addition to our didactic faculty, our Regional Clinical Faculty (RCF) are located throughout the United States and provide guidance and support to students and their preceptors in their respective geographic areas. We have more than 50 RCFs who represent and know the communities across the country in which our students are located.
