Frontier Nursing University (FNU) is excited to announce a new website for Wendover Bed & Breakfast and Retreat Center at www.wendoverbb.com. The new site brings Wendover to life for online visitors with aerial views, photos and video tours, along with information on the history of Wendover as home to FNU Founder Mary Breckinridge.
Wendover Bed & Breakfast is a National Historic Landmark featuring four charming properties where guests can enjoy a relaxing stay, as well as a retreat center to host group events. Mrs. Breckinridge built Wendover’s beautiful log home, known as the Big House, in 1925. Guest rooms are also available in The Garden House, The Barn, and The Cottage.
Some of the most engaging elements of the new site are the aerial views and beautiful photographs. New 360° videos invite guests to tour many of Wendover’s rooms online as they plan their visit. Visitors will also enjoy exploring the dining section of the site which features Wendover’s hearty Southern cooking.
Not only are there improvements to the website, but to the property as well. In 2017, Wendover partnered with Barbara Napier and Rhonda Childers of Snug Hollow Hand in Hand Consulting to help improve their services, operations, and amenities. For the past 18 years, Barbara and Rhonda have owned and operated a highly successful B&B in Irvine, KY, Snug Hollow. They brought their expertise to help Wendover become even more successful.
Wendover Bed & Breakfast and Retreat Center offers relaxation and rejuvenation in a peaceful mountain home, surrounded by the natural beauty of Eastern Kentucky. Visit Wendover online and start planning your getaway today!
